Archaeological illustration is not limited to lithics and ceramics.  I have experience illustrating a wide variety of objects with varying degrees of detail.

Pendants

Illustration can highlight the designs decorating objects such as these bone pendants.

Assorted Bone Objects

A whistle, pendant, harpoon head and toggle.  Small details like incised decoration, smoothing/grinding lines, damage, and material imperfections become much more obvious in an illustration.

This figurine's incised decoration is believed to represent tattoos and/or scarification.

Tattoo Reconstructions

I made these reconstructions for one of my own papers.  These are based on the preserved remains of tattooed men and women from the Meroitic Period in Sudan.
